Terms of service.

By employing a designer to create a room design through the How to Home design service, the client agrees to accept the following terms and conditions. How to Home is a remote guidance based interior design service in a box and part of LitterArty Ltd. Purchased for a specified fee on a per room basis and delivered to your door. We will provide a bespoke design concept, colour concept, samples and a specifically chosen list of items which the client can then choose to purchase.
Revisions
Classic package, no revisions or additions will be provided.
Premium package, the client receives 1 moodboard revision, and a follow up. The Moodboard revision will be sent digitally via email prior to the development of the final detailed design concept. The Follow up is via email, following the client’s receipt of their design box, at this point suggestions for item alternatives or additions can be provided for up to 4 items originally selected by the designer.
Additions
A Digital Elevation or 3D render, to accompany the design concept, can be added at an additional cost and requested on the initial questionnaire or via email thereafter.
If the room a client wishes to have designed measures over 5 m x 5 m or is a substantially open space of large proportions, additional charges may apply. This will be confirmed upon initial enquiry.
Payment
How to Home + LitterArty take full payment up front upon a client ordering the How to Home service. Work on a client’s design will only commence once payment has been received and all requested information has also been received e.g. photos, measurements, floor plans, etc.
If any additions are added and invoiced for by LitterArty to the client, payment is required within 3 working days.
Refunds
All orders are non-refundable. We cannot refund orders for the How to Home service after the 48 hour cancellation period. Please see How to Home Order Cancellation section below for more details. We cannot accept any returns of the HowtoHome service once delivered.
Disclousure
How to Home do not accept responsibility for any false, unclear or inaccurate information, measurements or photos, provided by the client.
How to Home + LitterArty do not accept any responsibility or liability for any inaccuracies or incorrect furniture orders by the client, or furniture that may be the wrong size, wrong colour or arrive damaged.
How to Home assumes that all clients check the dimensions of the furniture and items recommended to them before purchasing.
How to Home + LitterArty will not accept any liability or responsibility for furniture ordered by the client that isn’t to their satisfaction or needed to be returned. All orders for furniture, fixtures and fittings made by the client are subject to the terms of the supplier they are purchased from not How to Home + LitterArty.If providing a floorplan, whether from the client or client's contractor, we require all clients to check the accuracy of these floor plans prior to sending to How to Home and beginning any form of design work such as employing tradesmen, purchasing fixtures, fittings and furniture etc.
LitterArty Ltd + How to Home comply strictly with UK laws, not those of USA, Canada, or the EU. Any clients based outside of the UK, for example within the EU and USA, when engaging in a work relationship with LitterArty + How to Home, are subject to UK laws.
Any prices or quotes for furnishing items provided by How to Home are valid for up to 30 days only. Quotes after the 30 day period is over will be considered as invalid and will require a new quote or price review to be made.
Where How to Home suggests a product that requires ordering directly through our trade access, this offer is only valid for 2 months from the day of design dispatch from the How to Home studio. Thereafter How to Home + LitterArty cannot be held responsible for time spent in placing such orders, but arrangements at an extra charge can be made to proceed if and when required.

If you wish to cancel your order with HowtoHome by LitterArty please do so via email within 24 hours of payment. Once your payment has cleared and order information is received, work will have commenced on your order, refund at this stage will not be possible. It may be possible to make a change to your order, in which case please advise How to Home as soon as possible, via email. We will always try to accommodate changes where possible.
Once How to Home has received your cancellation order email we will confirm that you wish to cancel your order via return email. Funds will be credited to you within 30 days of placing your order.
