You’re bound to have questions

Here’s the answers to the questions we get asked most about HowtoHome. 

  • Once we’ve received all the information required to start work on your bespoke room design (this includes your completed questionnaire, good quality images, and accurate measurements), we aim to send your box out within 10 working days.

  • Simply attach your images to a responding email. If your image files prove too large to attach, please send them in a Google Drive file either by attaching or providing the link. If there are any problems during this process, please get in touch.

  • We appreciate design is subjective but your concept will have been created based on specific and thoughtful information provided by you. Unfortunately, the HowtoHome service is non-refundable. The aim of the package is to provide inspiration and a full design for you to follow. There may be items you keep and others you tweak. It’s your tool to go forth and create.

  • HowtoHome is a fixed cost service on a room by room basis. Your design is sent to you in a box complete with samples to get you started. It’s suited to less complex projects where the requirement is predominately spatial planning and decorative. The aim is to inspire and guide you to create a unique interior.

    LitterArty's remote design service has much larger scope and is conducted just like the in-person service, minus the project management. There’s plenty of direct contact with Ruth. Sourcing for all furnishings, if needed, is included and the project is delivered gradually, just like a standard interior design project.

  • This really is much simpler than you might think and can be done quickly, depending on the complexity of your room size and shape. If you’ve already downloaded our Handy ‘How to’ E-book you will find all the information you need in the ‘How to Measure a Room’ section.
